Easier Walks:
Sample a huge variety of scenery from coastal walks to beautiful Papagayo beach, and the intriguing cultivated landscapes of La Geria to the Palm Valley of Haria. Walking through the striking volcanoes of the Timanfaya National Park is another truly unique experience.
5 to 7 miles sometimes on rough and stony paths. Up to 800ft of ascent in a day.
Harder Walks:
Lanzarote’s volcanic ridges and coastal trails offer a splendid variety of longer walks. We can ascend the twin summits of Tinasoria and Guardilama and descend to the coast from the lofty Femés Ridge and we’ll cross the island’s spine to the ancient capital of Teguise.
6 to 10 miles using steeper and rougher paths. Up to 1,700ft of ascent in a day.
On some days the walks start and finish at the hotel. On other days we’ll use the hired transport to explore the surrounding area. The cost of transport to and from the walk is payable locally.
Each week there is a free day when no guided walks are offered. This is an ideal opportunity to relax around the hotel, walk independently, or visit local places of interest.

Playa Blanca has grown from a small fishing village to the island’s third largest resort. Here you’ll find a fine sandy beach and a number of large hotels around the main promenade.

Shops & Facilities: There is a good range of facilities including banks, shops, a supermarket, cafés and bars. There are also numerous outdoor shops and souvenir shops.
Leaders will be happy to recommend options if you would like to walk independently.

Fuerteventura: boats operate every day from Playa Blanca to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura, a journey of about 40 minutes. The closest of the Canaries to Africa, Fueteventura boasts 150 beaches, the Betancuria Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography and the Tefia Craft Village.

Playa Blanca: A relaxing day could be spent around the hotel and resort with time to swim in the hotel pool or visit the local beaches. A short walk will take you into the centre of the resort where you’ll find a good selection of shops, bars and cafés.
