Choose the option which best suits your interests and fitness
We provide flexible holidays, take an Easier Walk one day and switch to a Harder Walk the next, or choose to explore the Yorkshire Dales independently
We offer a social activity each evening

Half-Day Walks:
Less than 4 miles and 300ft of ascent on good paths.
At a leisurely pace these walks finish after a picnic lunch

Highlights include:
Take a stroll to Malham Cove
Enjoy rambling in Ribblesdale
Wander beside the River Wharfe to the traditional village of Grassington
These half-day walks are offered on holidays starting on 5 June, 19 June, 31 July, 25 Sept

Easier Walks:
6 to 7 miles generally on good, well-graded paths.
Up to 950ft of ascent in a day.

Highlights include:
Walk beside the River Aire to the traditional villages of Airton, Kirkby Malham and Malham
Visit the charming cobbled villages of Linton and Grassington as we walk through picturesque Wharfedale
Follow the river through the narrow confines of The Strid to the historic ruined priory at Bolton Abbey

Medium Walks:
7 to 10 miles with moderate gradients and some steeper sections.
Up to 1,325ft of ascent in a day.

Highlights include:
Classic walks from Malham village include Janet’s Foss waterfall, the limestone pavements around Malham Tarn and, of course, the sheer cliffs of the famous Cove
Traverse the limestone crags of Ribblesdale and explore Wharfedale
Head to the immense pot hole of Gaping Gill on the slopes of Ingleborough

Harder Walks:
10 to 14 miles over high moorland to rugged summits.
Up to 2,500 ft of ascent in a day.

Highlights include:
The higher fells of the Yorkshire Dales, including Pen-y-ghent and Ingleborough, two of the famous ‘three peaks’
Ascend to the twin summits of Great Whernside and Buckden Pike
Admire views across the national park from the open moors of Simon’s Seat, or enjoy dramatic walks to scramble up the rocky gorge of Gordale Scar

Flights The nearest airports are at Leeds/Bradford and Manchester.
If you are travelling Leeds/Bradford Airport you should take one of the half-hourly buses to Leeds station. From here there are regular trains to Skipton then a taxi to Newfield Hall. Journey time around 1½ hours

Manchester Airport has its own station with direct trains to Leeds. Change here for the connecting train to Skipton, and then a taxi to Newfield Hall. Journey time around 2½ hours.
