The Indepentent Walking Tours starts in Sant Pere Pescador a municipality located in the middle of the Bay of Roses, surrounded by the natural landscape of the Aiguamolls de l'Emporda Natural Park.
Taking in such scenic areas as Rosas, Cala Joncols and Cadaques, The tour concludes in Port de la Selva a municipality situated on the northern side of the Peninsula Cap de Creus. The walks take several hours although due to the easy terrain and having your luggage transferred for you the tour is suitable for all walking abilities

ITINERARY

Day 1   You will be picked up at the airport and brought to the hotel in Sant Pere Pescador where you will find the Road-book with the every day run description.

Day 2   You will start walking from "Sant Pere Pescador" to "Roses". It is a long run and you will pass through the Natural Park of Aiguamolls de l'Empordà and the middle-age village of Castelló d'Empúries. Walk: 23 Km. Time: 5.30 hours.

Day 3   Here you can see the area around the ancient city of Roses in a round tour passing by prehistoric rests such as the "Dolmen de la Creu in Cobertella and you will enjoy views over the Roses Bay. distance of 12km. Time: minimum of 3 hours.

Day 4   You will stay in the Cap de Creus Natural Park and you will pass trough the small beach "Cala Montjoi" to arrive to the beach of "Cala Joncols". Walk: 14.5 Km. Time: 3.30 hours.

Day 5   You will arrive to the village situated at the far east of Spain with one of the most important natural harbour of Catalonia, Cadaqués. In this case you will find a hill of 200m high. Walk: 7 Km. Time: 2.30 hours.

Day 6   You will walk from Cadaqués to Port de la Selva. You will get to the wildest nature side of the "Cap de Creus". Walk: 11.5 Km. Time: 3.30 hours.

Day 7   Check out. We will pick you up in the village of Sant Feliu de Boada to transfer you to the airport.
